Run for the Harvest

First, I'd like to introduce ourselves, we are the Newtons. Dennis, April, Denny, Lauren and Simeon. The reason we are starting this blog is to keep track of the progress of Great Adventure. See, we have these friends who live their lives to serve, they give their lives to save others. They travel the world telling people the good news, and how they can be a part of God's Awesome plan! You can, and should check them out at http://www.unisonharvest.com/ to see what they are all about. As for us, we've gotten to the point where we are no longer satisfied with running on the wheel. It's time to be the hands and the feet. We will be joining Cliff and Christie on one of their upcoming journeys to Nepal. In an effort to raise the necessary funds for this trip we will be running, as a family. 5K's, 10K's, half marathons, and even marathons. (The kids will stick to the smaller stuff.) Our first run will be SATURDAY, APRIL 12, 2008 @ 10:30 AM at LATROBE MEMORIAL STADIUM.
